2017 QBE Insurance Australian FIM Speedway Grand Prix

Speedway action is back in 2017!

The largest indoor motor racing spectacle in the Southern Hemisphere returns when Etihad Stadium hosts the 2017 QBE Insurance Australian FIM Speedway Grand Prix on Saturday 28 October. The Australian Grand Prix will see the best International and Australian Speedway Motorcycle riders meet under our roof!

The stadium will be transformed into a Motorcycle Speedway with 5000 tonnes of dirt being laid to create the Grand Prix circuit.

The first two SGP events attracted well over 45,000 fans combined and this year’s event promises to be bigger and more action-packed than ever after an exceptional win at the 2016 event by Australian Speedway champion Chris Holder and an impressive 2016 season by fellow Aussie Speedway star Jason Doyle.

Join us for the last FIM Speedway Grand Prix of the year as the final leg of a 12 round season. At the conclusion of the event a World Champion will be crowned.

Pit walk VIP packages are now on sale.
